Mr. Karl-Erik Jansson
Mr. Jansson began his career in musicals at age 11. He was first hired to music direct at the ripe age of 15. SNAP is the thrilling realization of his dream to start a children's theatre program in Greece. He is proud to be a part of the Olympia community and is grateful for his associations with so many wonderful students, staff, faculty, and volunteers. He received Music Education degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Nazareth College. He taught middle school in Fairport, and directed the Hochstein Children’s Chorus and the Rochester Mormon Choir. He is in demand as an guest conductor and music technology clinitian. He has taught at Olympia since 2002. His family (KayLee, Erik, Morgan, Carter, and Kara) is his happiest dramatic venture!
Mrs. Jennifer Ward
Jennifer Ward has always had a love for musical theatre. This is Jenn's sixth year with the production team at SNAP. She was a Producer for Greece Olympia High School Music Theatre for their productions of Cinderella, School of Rock and Working: A Musical. She volunteers with the Olympia Middle School Choir, Center Stage Show Choir and is on the SNAP Board of Directors. Jenn follows her kids at their Cross Country and Track & Field meets, is a Teaching Assistant at Greece Olympia and works seasonally for H&R Block as a tax accountant. Jenn lives in Greece with her husband, Mike, and their three teenagers, Cody, Suzanne and Benjamin.
Mrs. Bethany Kryger
Bethany Kryger has been involved with SNAP since her daughter joined the cast in 2017. This is Bethany's first year on the production team. She is a member of the SNAP Board of Directors, volunteers and supports several musicals at Greece Arcadia Middle and High schools, and is the Co-President of the Arcadia Middle School PTSA. Bethany works full-time for the Rochester City School District as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She lives in Greece with her husband, Jim and her two teenagers, Ethan and Caroline. She keeps busy support her son in swimming and her daughter with dancing.
Ms. Courtney Larkin
(Artistic Director & Choreographer)
Ms. Larkin holds a Bachelor's degree from Nazareth College in Adolescent Math Education and she is a Special Education Math teacher at Greece Athena High School. Courtney also has had the pleasure of choreographing for Greece Athena Middle School, Greece Olympia, Greece Odyssey, Artists Unlimited, OFC Creations, RAPA, Next Generation Theatre, Greece Olympia Center Stage Show Choir, GAMS Show Choir, and teaches at Danc'letics of Rochester. She has performed in multiple community shows and benefits around the Rochester area, as well as multiple performances in Walt Disney World. Courtney has training in multiple styles and has appeared in a promo for Dancing with the Stars Season 19. She even has had the opportunity to dance with Randi Strong from So You Think You Can Danceand two-time Emmy award winning choreographer from Dancing with the Stars, Derek Hough, multiple times.
Ms. Stephanie Schmidt
Stephanie Schmidt (Costume Designer) is a Rochester native, residing
in Greece, where she is an alumnus of Greece Athena High School. She
graduated in 2013 from Niagara University with her BFA in Theatre Design /Technology. She has been working professionally by costuming, stage managing, and running crew for shows in our community. Stephanie has worked professional theatre productions for GEVA, RAPA, Greece Athena Middle School, and Artists Unlimited. She is also the Resident Costume Designer for RAPA Family Theatre and has been costuming for SNAP since its inception in 2014.
Mrs. Nicole Wiler
Mrs. Wiler has been part of the SNAP team since 2017. She attended Greece Olympia High School and participated in Annie Get Your Gun (Ensemble), Fiddler On The Roof (Ensemble), Cinderella (Joy), Anything Goes (Reno). Nicole has been Directors’ Assistant for Greece Olympia’s Once Upon a Mattress (2011), and SNAP’s Hairspray
JR. (2017). She attended Roberts Wesleyan College and has a Masters
Degree in Social Work. Currently she is a School Social Worker for Greece Central School District. At home, Mrs. Wiler has her husband, Randy and their son, Wesson.
Mr. Christian Drew
Mr. Drew has been part of the SNAP team since 2017. He is a middle and high school music teacher at Greece Olympia and Greece Athena. He was involved in Seussical the Musical and Aida as well in choir and orchestra while in High School in Victor. He attended Nazareth College, obtaining his degree in vocal music education. Christian has helped out the local Greece schools, playing in the orchestra
pits for Olympia and Athena. He is also the Musical Assistant for Greece Athena Middle School Theatre. He is an avid fan of picking up a new instrument and jamming out.
Ms. Alexis Lindsay
Alexis is a graduate of Greece Athena High School, and is studying Theater Production and Design at Fredonia State University.
Alexis has worked with the Athena High School and Athena Middle School theatre productions. Additionally, she has worked with
Stages, Olympia High School and Artists Unlimited. She has been working with SNAP since 2016.
